Ident Fictions – exploring new possibilities

Between origin and future, autofiction and poetry, readings and video clips: POEM (Poets of Migration) is a polyphonic experiment. An improvised community. A spaceship for exploring new possibilities of thinking and playing.

This year, POEM presents a literary series entitled „I-Fi – Ident Fictions“ at the Volksbühne. It features various formations and special guests from the fields of literature, performance, film, music, and philosophy.

The motifs: quest and flight, borders and crossings, actual reflections and surreal relationships. The operating temperature: nice & funny, abysmal & melancholic. Each show is unique yet connected by a utopian drive – the uncertain feeling that lurks behind every migration, every life, every fleeting pleasure.
